Forest of Kami-Toyoi has been registered with OECM.
On August 1st, UNEP-WCMC (World Centre for Conservation Monitoring of Nature) updated its OECM registration, and the Fumiharu Forest Foundation's "Forest of Kamitoyoi" was added to it. After being designated as a Nationally Certified Sustainably Managed Natural Sites in the first half of 2025, we had to wait nearly two years, but the site ID has finally been decided. International Forum on the Rural Satoyama Initiative in Taiwan
From July 4th to 8th, I was invited by Professor Chen-Fa Wu of Taiwan to participate in the international forum "SATOYAMA Initiative in Taiwan" held in Taiwan. Last December, I received significant assistance from Professor Wu during the Taiwan SATOYAMA Olympics and a presentation at National Chung Hsing University.
